Exercise of Warrant and Issue of Equity

OptiBiotix Health plc (AIM:OPTI), a life sciences business developing compounds to tackle obesity, high cholesterol, diabetes and skin care, received notification on 2 June 2020 for the exercise of a warrant over 50 ordinary shares in the Company at an exercise price of 8 pence per share providing the Company with proceeds of £4.00.

Application will be made to the London Stock Exchange to admit the 50 new ordinary shares to trading on AIM. Admission of the new ordinary shares is expected to occur on or around 8 June 2020. The new ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares

For the purpose of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, following the issue of shares detailed above the enlarged issued share capital of the Company will comprise 87,940,601 ordinary shares of 2p each. The Company does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury. The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
